IGUAZU FALLS ARGENTINA

Located 841 Miles northeast from the capital, Iguazu Falls is located in the Limits between Argentina and Brazil. One of the world wonders and definitely an amazing, unique and powerful proof of the power of the nature, The Iguazu Falls make Niagara and Victoria Falls look like amateurs.

Iguazu Falls with an extension of almost 3 kilometers consists of approximately 275 separate waterfalls together in an arch of 270 degree that send their waters some 200 ft down to the rocks.

The Brazilian side of the falls has the most amazing panoramic views but the Argentine side has the most beautiful and powerful close-up views of the falls. The Argentine side is full of catwalks, hiking paths and sandy beach.

One of the nicest tours is the “Gran Aventura” that takes you by rafting boat up to the river as close as possible to the falls. A really adventurous way to see the falls.

PUERTO MADRYN ARGENTINA

Puerto Madryn is an important tourist center in Argentina located 67 Km to the north of Trelew with amazing beaches and waters where you can practice many water sports. We recommend a tour to the "Ecocentro", specialized in sea ecosystem interpretation. Punta Loma Natural Reserve is located 19 Km to the south of Puerto Madryn, and over 800 sea lion specimens live there all the year round. Puerto Madryn is included in our Argentina tour

USHUAIA AND TIERRA DEL FUEGO

Ushuaia is located closer to the South Pole than to the northern border of Argentina. 2212 miles south from Buenos Aires, Ushuaia is the southernmost town on Argentina and the world. Ushuaia is located in the Big Island of Tierra del Fuego, over the Beagle Channel. The city extends next to the Martial Mounts. The mountains here, run parallel to the coast and their inclination starts right on the shore making the city to grow up the mountain creating the amphitheater famous view of Ushuaia.

The Name Ushuaia comes from the Yamana language (first inhabitants of tierra del fuego) and it means “Bay that penetrates to the west”. Ushuaia is a wonderful city with approximately 53800 inhabitants.

In Ushuaia the options for activities are endless: in summer, discover the landscape on foot, by bus, on horseback, by sailing and even by train; in winter, by Nordic and Alpine ski, snow motor skis, or dog sledges. Modern ski runs spread over stunning valleys give the chance to winter sports enthusiasts to enjoy the season at its best. Some of the nicest activity centers in Ushuaia are: Altos del Valle, Cerro Castor, Martial Glacier, Haruwen, Las Cotorras, Tierra Mayor, Valle Hermoso and a lot more wonderful places to enjoy your staying in Patagonia Argentina.

LOS GLACIARES - EL CALAFATE

El Calafate was founded in 1927 and it is the starting point for all the excursions to the Parque Nacional Los Glaciares (Galciers National Park) created in 1937.

During the months of December and February when the sun sets at 10pm is the time when thoursands of visitors from all around the world come to see the world heritage site the Glacier Perito Moreno. From March through May the climate permits as well some pleasant visits.

Declared World Heritage Site in 1981, the National Park los Glaciares has breathtaking landscape of impressive glaciers descending from the continental ice field. Thirteen glaciers on the Atlantic side break into huge ice towers which plunge into the waters of lakes Viedma and Argentino. Glaciers Perito Moreno, Mayo, Spegazzini, and Upsala’s fronts fall into the latter, at a short distance from glaciers Agassiz, Onelli, Ameghino, and Frías. Tertiary granite elevations covered with thick Andean forests are also part of this spectacle. You can go sailing on the lakes to better appreciate the glaciers’ front, or you may go trekking and climbing on ancient blocks of ice. El Calafate is the closest service center, which can be reached by air from Buenos Aires and Ushuaia, or by bus from Río Gallegos.

BUENOS AIRES ARGENTINA

Is the ninth largest city in the world, composed by 48 neighborhoods each one with different roots and identity. Buenos Aires which holds almost half of the population of the country is the political, economical and cultural center of Argentina.

Buenos Aires is a mixture of European cultures that migrated long ago. Today 85% of the population has European origin. Buenos Aires has its unique style that makes it one of the most attractive, strong and active cities in America.
